The children in our Butterflies Room just love messy play and recently enjoyed exploring various textures such as hair gel, chick peas and sea animals as part of our under the sea theme.  We believe that exploring in this way helps to encourage language development, social skills and fine motor skills -all very important for the every curious two year old.  There was a lot of cleaning up to do afterwards!
